Should You Rent or Buy a Floor-Cleaning Robot?

InterCON Robotics

Renting can make sense for a short trial or temporary need. Buying may make sense for daily long-term use. Compare actual quotes and contract terms before deciding.

Why rent first?

A rental lets you see how the robot works in your own building before you commit. You learn if it fits through your doors and halls, cleans your kind of dirt, and works with your staff and schedule. Ask if rental is offered for your size and time frame, and what the minimum term is.

When buying can make sense?

If you have large floors that need cleaning every day, a robot you own may cost less over time. That only holds if it really takes work off your team, and if you have a plan for upkeep.

How do you compare them fairly?

Use the same time period for both, such as two years. For renting, add up the monthly fees and read what the contract covers: repairs, parts, training, and what happens if you end early. For buying, add the price, cleaning supplies, brushes and other parts, repairs, and service and support costs after the warranty ends. Then ask one plain question: how many hours of floor work will the robot actually save your staff each week?

Also check the edges. InterCON C2 PRO and C3 Mini are built to clean right up against walls.

Put both options side by side on paper, using real quotes for your building. Then pick the one that fits how often you will really use it.
