Can it clean corners and along walls effectively without leaving dead zones?

Model C2 Pro and C3 Mini (exclude Model C2) all have 0-edge cleaning feature, leave zero debris and dust on the edges.

What happens if the map or environment changes? Will it get lost or freeze?

The robot supports breakpoint continuous cleaning and uses laser obstacle avoidance to handle movable items and dynamic obstacles. High Mapping Precision is up to ±1cm accuracy. With Smart Route Planning, the real-time updates for new routes within 1 second if changes in cleaning condition.

Are there any recurring software or license fees?

No, there are no recurring software or license fees, it is one time purchase even we upgrade the software.

Which cleaning detergent do you recommend? And is “Biocleaner Extra” suitable?

Alkaline cleaning agents are allowed; acidic detergents are strictly prohibited.

Does the robot leave the floor reasonably dry after washing & cleaning?

Yes, the scrubber will scrub and suck the water into waste tank, keep the floor clean and dry immediately.

How does warranty / After-Sale Service work when the machine is shipped directly from China?

We provide complete after‑sales support and online training, 1 year warranty for InterCon robot with extendable upon request.

Are spare parts quickly available if needed?

Spare parts are in stock. We recommend customers prepare stock for 6 months or 1 year in advance.

How truly autonomous is the docking station, and does it require manual daily maintenance?

The model: C2 Pro automated docking station handles 100% of routine fluid management—automatically refilling fresh water, discharging dirty wastewater, and recharging the lithium battery. Operators only need to replace consumables and perform a quick 5-minute manual to check whether anything is tangled around the brushes or clogging the water tank, and rinse of the wastewater filter once a week to prevent odor buildup.

Can the 4-in-1 Commercial Cleaning Robot switch between sweeping, vacuuming, scrubbing, and mopping in a single pass?

Yes. The robot operates with an integrated 4-in-1 cleaning module with different tasks and zones planned. The robot automatically adjusts cleaning modes and efficiently performs different tasks across areas. It continuously collects loose debris and dust via a high-vacuum extraction channel before applying fresh water and scrubbing brushes, followed by high-power squeegee suction to leave floors immediately dry and safe for foot traffic.

How does the robot handle dynamic obstacles, reflective glass, or high-traffic areas during business hours?

Built with a multi-sensor fusion system (2D LiDAR + High-Precision 6-Axis IMU + Ultrasonic Sensors + Structured Light Camera), a combination of mature, practical and cost-effective multi-sensor fusion solution for indoor environments. InterCon robot implements UAV–level multi-sensor navigation, intelligent obstacle avoidance, anti-collision, and anti-fall protection from stairs. It detects both static structures and dynamic obstacles like pedestrians or moving forklifts in real-time. It continuously recalculates bypass routes with zero collision risk and remains unaffected by floor glare or glass reflections in normal condition. If there is any glass it could not detect in certain condition, InterCon robot provides sticker to be located on the glass, so that the robot could study the obstacle and prevent collision.

Is the battery in InterCon robot safe for long-term use?

Yes.

  • LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery for enhanced safety, with 3000 sets without any accidents.
  • Fire-Resistant Design: Rugged Enclosure made of high-grade metal (puncture-resistant), High-strength aviation-grade aluminum 6061 sheet metal; plastic parts made of flame-retardant materials.
  • Charging & Discharging Protection: Equipped with voltage limit protection, leakage protection, overheat protection, current limit protection, short circuit protection, reverse connection protection, overcharge/discharge protection, etc.
When do we know if the consumable parts need to be replaced?

InterCon robot has consumables management showing in the Multiple Platforms (onboard screen, mobile App on the phone / tablet, browser on laptop / computer), which indicates the percentage of usage of the consumable parts. You could check when you need to switch to new consumables.

Does the robot require complex mapping setups during deployment?

No. Initial deployment takes less than 2 hours for standard commercial spaces if the space is medium size. The robot generates precise HD maps autonomously via quick pushing / walking or remote control driving.

Does the robot require WIFI / web based infrastructure?

It supports SIM card and WIFI connection, so operator could check all cleaning logs and daily scheduled cleaning tasks through a continuous Wi-Fi / SIM card connection. If no SIM card installed or WIFI connected, the InterCon robot device may remain offline and unable to support the robot via mobile apps, browser on laptop / computer. In this case, use the robot's onboard interface or web-based tool software for operation.

What is the average cleaning efficiency, and how long does a full battery charge last?

Powered by an industrial-grade lithium battery, the robot delivers up to 800-1200 m²/h cleaning efficiency with a continuous runtime of 4-7 hours per charge. When the battery drops low, the robot automatically returns to its dock, recharges for 3.5 hours, and resumes cleaning right where it left off.

What are the ongoing maintenance requirements and consumable replacement cycles?

Daily maintenance is virtually zero thanks to the auto-docking system. Consumables like squeegee blades and scrubbing brushes feature quick-release modular designs that require no tools to swap. Average replacement cycles are 6–12 months depending on floor roughness and usage intensity.

How is facility spatial data secured, and is local aftermarket support available?

No video records shall be stored. InterCon robotics also support local data center deployment if the quantity is more than 100 pieces of robots. We support our global clients with local installation through distributors; fast-track spare parts dispatch; and ASAP remote technical diagnostics.

What is the maximum obstacle clearance height for the Intercon Robot?

The typical obstacle of height clearance for Models C2 and C2 PRO is 1 meter. We have, however, delivered a customized 80 cm version for a client in the Netherlands, who required floor cleaning underneath tables. InterCon engineers developed dedicated programs to adjust the robot’s obstacle height clearance, enabling it to pass under tables. Should you have similar requirements, feel free to let us know.
